The Oklahoma City Police Department and the Bethany Police Department underwent a sting operation that led to the arrest of six women from six different massage parlors in Bethany.
“We started receiving complaints of citizens of massage parlor employees offering to engage in acts of prostitution,” said Lt. Brady Schmiedeberg with the Bethany police investigations.
“They look into it from a human trafficking standpoint, as well, to make sure these employees aren’t being exploited.”
Undercover investigators posed as paying customers, and court documents show the masseuse offered sexual acts for more money. One suspect offered to get naked for an additional $120, according to investigators.
“Each employee was not licensed to conduct massages. They were all arrested for that as well,” said Schmiedeberg.
