Ultra-rich Indian industrialist mulls buying stake in Saudi Aramco
Billionaire Gautam Adani, the 11th richest person in the world, has been in discussions with Saudi Arabia about buying a stake in the country’s oil giant company Aramco from the Public Investment Fund.
It’s not just Aramco, Adani and the Saudis are reportedly in early talks over a broader partnership, the Indian industrialist could offer the Saudi sovereign wealth fund to invest in infrastructure in India.
India is already the world’s third largest oil importer, and its fossils demand is expected to skyrocket in the coming years.
