UK pledges “High-Explosive Weapons” & $32.9MN Military Aid to Kiev – while Britons protest and lament record inflation
Ukraine will be boosted by 6,000 British anti-tank missiles and $32.9 million in further military aid, while the BBC Ukrainian & Russian-language services will receive an additional $5.4MN funding to “counter disinformation about the war in Ukraine” – an apparent countermeasure weeks after the Russian regulator blocked the BBC website in Russia.
Westminster’s continued spending in Ukraine comes despite thousands protesting the spiraling cost of living and and a new budget that poor households claim do little or nothing to help.
