UK mobilizes ARMY to tackle fuel supply chain crisis, 150 soldiers to drive tankers – as tensions spill over in the long lines (WATCH!)
Despite PM Boris Johnson’s insistence that the fuel supply crisis is improving, 150 soldiers have been mobilized and will start filling in to drive tankers to desperately dry petrol stations, Reuters reports.
Johnson has refused calls to give key workers priority at the pumps as the number of forecourts completely dry dropped to 37% from between 50-90% yesterday, while his Business minister Kwasi Kwarteng refused to guarantee there wouldn’t be problems in the run-up to the busy retail period.
