U.S. Marshals in the Eastern District of Washington are still looking for 34-year-old Edgar Salvador Casian-Garcia and his girlfriend 38-year-old Araceli Medina. Investigators are offering up to $25,000 each as a reward for information leading to their arrests.
The couple is facing several charges in Franklin County including Aggravated Murder in the First Degree, four counts of Rape of a Child in the First Degree and three counts of Assault of a Child in the First degree.
The charges stem from late 2020 when two of Casian-Garcia’s biological daughters aged eight and three, were found abandoned in Tijuana, Mexico. Investigators said both girls showed signs of severe physical and sexual abuse.
After forensic interviews with both girls, investigators determined that Casian-Garcia and Medina had likely been abusing and sex trafficking the children, as well as the girls’ eight-year-old brother Edgar Casian.
U.S. Marshals said Edgar Casian is believed to have been tortured to death in Washington state. His remains were found in a rural part of Franklin County in February 2022.
