Two women have been charged after a man was shot and killed at his apt
The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office has arrested two suspects after a man died from a gunshot wound Sunday evening.
Deputies responded to the 8000 block of Assembly View Circle in regard to a gunshot victim just before 7:30 p.m.
The victim, 25-year-old Robert Lee Jackson, died at the hospital.
Jade Amya Jones, 21, turned herself in Wednesday on charges of murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. Investigators said Jones and Jackson were familiar with each other but their relationship is unknown.
They also charged 25-year-old Jaquasha Allgood with accessory after the fact.
Deputies said Jones and Allgood went to Jackson’s apartment and when he stepped outside, Jones shot him at least once.
Both suspects are being held at the Greenville County Detention Center.
