According to INDOT, the accident happened around 6:15 a.m. at the Memphis-Blue Lick Road exit, near Sellersburg.
Two semi-trucks caught on fire after a crash, leaving damage to the roadway.
One lane opened around 10:30 a.m., with plans of opening another lane within a few hours.
According to Indiana State Police, one driver was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
