Two people shot inside Jefferson City bar early Saturday morning

Jefferson City Police are investigating after two people were shot inside J. Pfenny’s Sports Grill and Pub early Saturday morning.
Police responded to reports of shots being fired around 12:56 a.m on the 200 block of East High Street.
When police arrived on scene, they found two people suffering from gunshot wounds.
One person is in custody, according to the Jefferson City Police Department.
JCPD says, it is too early in their investigation to determine a motive and no information identifying the victims will be released at this time.
