Two Of Three People Identified In Triple Deadly Shooting In Pennsylvania
Three people are dead after a shooting in the East Allegheny section of the North Side Saturday night, police said.
Police said a fourth victim walked into AGH a few minutes after the shooting with a gunshot wound to the leg.
The medical examiner’s office has identified two of the people who were killed as Betty Averytt, 59, who died on the scene, and Jacquelyn Mehalic, 33, who died at the hospital.
Police said it happened at the corner of Cedar Avenue and Pressley Street on Pittsburgh’s North Side.
Mike McDonald was working at the 7/11 gas station nearby when the shooting happened.
“I guess it was about five after 10:00, I just walked outside the door, and I heard all this gunfire erupt,” McDonald said.
