Two men were shot during a gunfight in the South Loop on Wednesday night.
According to police, a 29-year-old man was standing outside his vehicle after a crash in the 700 block of Desplaines Street when three people armed with guns exited a black Dodge Charger.
The victim, a CCL holder, and the perpetrators exchanged gunshots. The incident occurred at 9:17 p.m. The offenders fled the scene in a Dodge Charger southbound.
Officers on the scene recovered the victim’s gun. He was taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition, having suffered three gunshot wounds to his legs.
One suspect was apprehended after he arrived at Mt. Sinai with a gunshot wound and was identified as one of the gunmen.
According to police, the offender was uncooperative and refused to answer any questions.
Local cops are looking into it.
