Two men were injured, one critically, in a drive-by shooting Sunday night in Chicago’s Garfield Ridge neighborhood.
According to CPD, the men, ages 26 and 43, were found with gunshot wounds around 9:44 p.m. in the 5500 block of South Merrimac Avenue. The 26-year-old was shot twice in the torso, while the 43-year-old was grazed by gunfire in the stomach and hand.
They were both taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where they were listed as critical and in good condition, respectively.
A witness reported that the shots came from a black sedan that fled the scene.
No one is in custody as Area One detectives conduct their investigation.
