Two men have been arrested, accused of running a chop shop in Collinsville.

The affidavit for Jonathan Dykes and Ramzi Nofal, says it was uncovered when a stolen truck was dumped in a wooded area and a nearby business captured video of three trucks leaving the area, carrying parts that had been removed from the stolen truck.

It says the front end, motor, transmission and doors had been removed and several tools had been taken from it as well.

It says the suspects left a red motor hoist behind that they’d used to remove the engine, but, came back to get the hoist while the wrecker was there to haul the victim’s truck, but, they got away in a Silverado.

It says 30 minutes later, the nearby business reported a man (Dykes) on a blue 4-wheeler driving around their business, taunting him.

He got away but was spotted the next day and ran from the officer and ditched the four-wheeler, but, a K-9 track led officers to the property owned by Nofal.

It says after serving a warrant, they found the Silverado and the hoist as well as the doors, fenders, engine and transmission of the victim’s truck as well as the tools.

It says they also found a Tahoe with all the VINs removed.

Police also confiscated 4 cameras set up on the property.
