Two men and a woman have been charged in connection with a series of incidents, including an assault, and a drug seizure in the Moncton area.
On March 24, 2022, the Codiac Regional RCMP received information about an assault that had occurred at a bar on Lewisville Road in Moncton the week before.
On March 18, a 22-year-old man had been transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Through the course of the investigation, police were able to obtain images of two men wearing Red Devils Motorcycle Club attire, who were identified as persons of interest in connection with the investigation.
On April 12, members of the Codiac Regional RCMP General Investigation Section executed a search warrant at a home on Highway 132 in Greater Lakeburn.
The New Brunswick RCMP’s Provincial Crime Reduction Unit assisted with the search, along with members of the RCMP Police Dog Services. A 32-year-old man was arrested while leaving the property.
During the search, police observed evidence of drug trafficking.
A second search warrant was obtained, and executed at the property.
Police seized significant quantities of what is believed to be hashish and psilocybin mushrooms, as well as two prohibited weapons, a number of vehicles, money, and drug trafficking paraphernalia.
Police also seized a Red Devils Motorcycle Club vest, several membership patches and Red Devils Motorcycle Club support gear.
As part of the investigation, a search warrant was executed at a second home in Lakeville the same day by members of the Codiac Regional RCMP General Investigation Section, with the assistance of the Codiac Crime Reduction Unit and members of the RCMP Police Dog Services.
Police seized more than a dozen Red Devils Motorcycle Club vests, and other support gear. A 49-year-old man was arrested at the property.
Also on April 12, a 25-year-old woman turned herself in to Codiac Regional Police in connection with the investigations.

Nicholas Michel Beauchamp, 32, of Greater Lakeburn, appeared in Moncton Provincial Court on June 29.
He was charged with possession of psilocybin for the purpose of trafficking, possession of cannabis for the purpose of selling, as well as six offences related to possession of prohibited weapons, in connection with the April 12 search warrants.
He is currently released under conditions pending a court appearance on August 8.
On June 30, Beauchamp was also charged with aggravated assault in connection with the incident on March 18 in Moncton. He is scheduled to appear in court for this matter on September 12.
On June 30 Justin Timothy Stannard, 49, of Lakeville, was charged with aggravated assault in connection with the incident on March 18. He is currently released under conditions pending a court appearance on September 12.
On June 29, Annie Danielle Bonsant, 25, of Greater Lakeburn, was charged with six offences related to possession of prohibited weapons. She is currently released under conditions pending a court appearance on August 8.
The 22-year-old victim of assault has since recovered, and has been released from hospital.
The investigations into the assault and drug seizures are continuing.
