Two Males Dead Following Shooting in HyVee Parking Lot
Lawrence, KS – Lawrence Police were dispatched at 9:41 p.m., Tuesday, May 17, 2022 to the Hy-Vee at 3504 Clinton Parkway.
One male was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A second male was transported to an area hospital via ambulance with critical injuries and later pronounced deceased.
Investigators are currently speaking with 4 individuals who were present at the scene but their specific involvement is yet unclear.
There is not believed to be a threat to public safety at this time.
This investigation is in its preliminary stages.
