LONDON, ON – Two London men are facing a number of charges in relation to multiple break and enter investigations by members of our LPS Street Crime Unit.
Two residences and eight businesses were broken into in the city of London. The dates and locations are as follows:
June 24 – two residences in the 1800-block of Richmond Street, a business in the 400-block of Sunningdale Road
June 29 – three businesses, one located in the 700-block of Talbot Street, one located in the 900-block of Fanshawe Park Road West, one located in the 1300-block of Fanshawe Park Road West
July 1 – two business, one located in the 500-block of Talbot Street, one located in the 600-block of Colborne Street
July 2 – a business locating in the 300-block of Oxford Street West
July 9 – a business located in the 1200-block of Huron Street
In total, there was approximately $17,050 in damages sustained, and approximately $11,010 worth of property and cash reported stolen.
As a result of a lengthy investigation by members of the LPS Street Crime Unit, investigators determined that the same suspects were responsible for each of the reported break and enters.
William Edward Dundas, 33, and *a 27-year-old man, both of London, have been jointly charged by with the following Criminal Code offences:
- Six (6) counts of break & enter and theft; and
- Break & enter with intent
The 27-year-old man is also charged with one additional count of break & enter and theft.
The 27-year-old man was arrested and appeared in London court yesterday in relation to the charges, however, William Dundas has not been located, and as such, the charges are by way of warrant of arrest.
Investigators are releasing a photo of William Dundas in hopes of seeking assistance from the public in locating him.
