Two employees of a suburban Popeyes have been charged with opening fire on a delivery driver.
According to Glenwood police, officers responded to a Popeyes restaurant in the 18200 block of South Halsted on Sunday after receiving a report of shots fired.
According to police, Trevon Jackson, 19, of Steger, and Omarion Roberts, 19, of Ford Heights, opened fire on a food delivery driver during a heated argument about a “delayed food order.”
According to police, the shots were fired at the driver and his passenger as they fled.
Nobody was hurt.
Jackson and Roberts were charged with aggravated firearm discharge. Clifton Stewart, 55, of Sauk Village, was charged with concealing evidence and making false statements.
A manager told WGN News on Friday that all three people involved had been fired.
