RawNews1st – Police made two class-A drug arrests and seized a large amount of substances in the latest operation to tackle drug dealing in North Yorkshire.
Our specialist officers and police dogs searched it and discovered a large quantity of powder, which has been sent for forensic tests but is believed to be cocaine.
We arrested a man and a woman, both in their 30s, on suspicion of possessing class-A drugs with intent to supply.
A number of other items including scales, mobile phones and cash, were also seized during the operation in the south of the city on Friday.
A full investigation is under way. They used a warrant to enter a house in Ripon.
We’re working hard to make sure North Yorkshire remains England’s safest county.
