RawNews1st – Fresno Police Department detectives arrested 22-year-old Yarelly Solorio-Rivera and 26-year-old Martin Arroyo- Morales, for the murders of Yanelly Solorio-Rivera and her infant daughter, Celine.
The Fresno Police Department’s Homicide Unit collaborated with multiple federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies during the investigation.
Yarelly Solorio-Rivera and Martin Arroyo-Morales were transported to the Fresno County Jail where they both were booked for two counts of Murder.
Although arrests have been made in this case, detectives are asking anyone with information to contact the Fresno Police Department.
On Saturday, September 24, 2022, at 7:20 am, Southwest Policing District officers responded to a residence in the 2500 block of South Fruit Avenue regarding a report of multiple gunshots heard within a bedroom in the house.
Officers entered the bedroom where they found 18-year-old Yanelly Solorio- Rivera and her three-week-old infant daughter, Celine Solorio-Rivera, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

EMS personnel arrived on scene to provide medical aid. Both victims were unable to survive their wounds and were pronounced deceased on scene.
