RawNews1st – Officers in Broken Arrow and Tulsa began investigating an armed robbery/carjacking.
The victim said he was in Broken Arrow when he received a text from a 17-year-old asking for a ride to midtown Tulsa.
The victim said when he arrived, the 17-year-old got in with another 17-year-old, and they pulled out a gun and forced him out of his car.
The victim called police as the car left the area.
At 6:50 p.m., a Tulsa Police Officer spotted the car taken in the robbery and initiated a traffic stop. Three people were inside the car at the time.
The car refused to pull over, and a pursuit began. The car hit a median near 21st and Yale, but continued.

Officers pursued the car into downtown Tulsa where the driver lost control near the Denver exit. All three occupants were taken into custody. An airsoft gun was recovered from the vehicle.
Two 17-year-olds were arrested for Armed Robbery. The backseat passenger, Jose Lopez, was arrested for Joyriding.
