Two 15-year-old boys have been arrested in connection with two armed robberies on Chicago’s Northwest Side.

According to Chicago police, the teens allegedly walked into a business in the 4000 block of West Diversey Avenue in Belmont Gardens on Aug. 16 and stole property at gunpoint.

The same boy was also charged with armed robbery of a retail establishment on Sept. 3 in the 5100 block of West Diversey Avenue in Cragin, according to police.

According to officials, the teens were arrested on Monday around 6:15 p.m. in the 5200 block of West Diversey Avenue after being identified as suspects in both robberies.

One of the 15-year-olds is charged with four counts of armed robbery and aggravated use of a deadly weapon, while the other is charged with two counts of armed robbery.

Police provided no additional information about either robbery.
