Police officials tell 3News that officers responded to the 2800 block of Ludlow Road for two infant fatalities on Saturday.
Sources told 3News’ Lydia Esparra that the infants were found in a garbage can outside of the house. The source also said that the infants were born on Thursday.
Residents in the community told 3News that they heard babies crying in the evening on the night they were allegedly born, but did not suspect anything was wrong.
Members of the Cleveland Police Homicide Unit are investigating.
Police say that the homicide unit investigates all cases of child fatalities.
At this time, the deaths remain under investigation and no other details have been released.
