RawNews1st – OHP Troopers arrest a suspected drunk driver accused of slamming head-on into a school bus yesterday afternoon.
Troopers say Robert Kirby was driving drunk when he crossed the center line and hit the bus that was carrying 14 students.
It happened yesterday afternoon on state highway 28 near Jay.
Troopers say the bus driver and students were not hurt.
Records show Kirby has had a previous conviction for a D-U-I and child endangerment in 20-14, when he had a child in the car with him.
He received a 4 year suspended sentence.
