RawNews1st – Keene Police Detectives worked diligently through last week to address a report of suspicious circumstances.
With the help of the community, as well as the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office, Texas Rangers, and others, we have identified the alleged offender and made the following arrest:
Tony Bernard Wooldridge, of Keene, was arrested yesterday for a warrant which outlined the probable cause for the charge of Stalking. Once he was booked into the Johnson County Jail, an additional warrant for Violation of Parole was served.
With the arrest of Mr. Wooldridge, investigators have accounted for the person involved in two known incidents in Keene.
The investigation continues, as we process physical evidence and follow leads to determine if any further incidents occurred in, or around, Keene.
Keene Police are investigating a report made this evening of suspicious circumstance.
The reporting party is a juvenile and stated to police at about 6:15 pm that a car pulled up as they were walking near City Hall and a male told them to get in the car.
The male was not known to the reporting party. The reporting party ran toward Carver Park and the man drove off to the north.
The vehicle is described as a medium size 4-door car, fairly newer model, black in color with some paint missing and/or scratches along the sides.
The driver of the car is described as a black male, 40’s in age, bald, thin build, clean shaven.
