RawNews1st – Around 2:15 a.m., Officers responded to a shooting at the Cobblestone Apartments near 51st and Memorial.
Through the investigation, Officers learned someone fired multiple shots through a second floor bedroom window.
The victim, 19-year-old Braylee Owens, was lying in bed with her boyfriend when one of the bullets hit her in the head.
Paramedics took Owens to the hospital where she later died. Her boyfriend was not injured in the shooting.
19-year-old Sytney Sinan was arrested Tuesday afternoon.
Thursday evening, 18-year-old Braylon Brown and 15-year-old Cameron Green turned themselves in at the Detective Division. We appreciate the cooperation from their parents in helping with this situation.
All three suspects are charged with 1st Degree Murder.
At this time, Detectives are not actively looking for any additional suspects.
This is an arrest, not a conviction.
