Three people were shot early Monday in Chicago’s Southwest Side neighborhood of Calumet Heights.
According to police, the group was standing on the sidewalk in the 9100 block of South Harper Avenue around 1:43 a.m. when someone in a black sedan began shooting.
According to police, a 57-year-old woman was shot in the head, and a 77-year-old man was shot in the back. Paramedics took them both to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where they were listed in critical condition.
A 59-year-old man was shot in the arm and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center. He was listed as being in good health.
As Area Two detectives conduct their investigation, no one is in custody.
