On Saturday night in Grand Crossing, three men were shot while they were standing on a front porch and a nearby sidewalk.
Around 9 o’clock in the evening, according to police, shots fired from a passing car struck the victims as they stood outside in the 1500 block of East 75th Street.
A 39-year-old man was taken to Jackson Park Hospital and will be taken in fair condition with gunshot wounds to the back to the University of Chicago Medical Center.
Another victim, a 33-year-old man, was also shot in the right arm and was taken in fair condition to Jackson Park Hospital.
A 40-year-old man was transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center with a gunshot wound to the right leg and was listed in fair condition.
Area One detectives are looking into the incident, and no one is in custody.
