There are reports of an active shooter inside the medical examiner’s building in Dallas.

Dallas police are responding to reports of an active shooter Tuesday at the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office building.

The shooting was reported shortly before 5 p.m. at the medical examiner’s building, located in the 2300 block of North Stemmons Freeway.

A Dallas police spokesman confirmed to NBC 5 that officers were responding to an active shooter call inside the building. No further information was released.

Early details were limited and no word yet on injuries.

Texas Sky Ranger showed people being evacuated from the adjacent Dallas County Health and Human Services building.
