There are unconfirmed reports of at least 1 person injured by gunfire following reports of an active shooter at Villanova University in Pennsylvania.
Radnor Township Police are on scene and have ordered all students and nearby residents to shelter in place.
Updates will come from the Office of the Superintendent of Police.
The Radnor Township Police Department confirmed their presence on the scene and requested residents and students in the vicinity to shelter in place. As of approximately 5:30 p.m. EDT, there were no known injuries reported.
New student orientation and registration began today, Thursday, August 21st, 2025, and classes are scheduled to begin on Monday.
“They have officers right now who are searching buildings right now,” Delaware County District Attorney Jack Stollsteimer said. “We’re going to get to the bottom of this. We’re going to make this campus safe.”
