Central America:
Exercise caution as severe weather conditions persist. A Winter Storm Warning and other advisories are in effect, necessitating vigilance and preparation.
Winter Storm Warning:
What: Heavy snow with additional accumulations of 1 to 3 inches in La Porte and St Joseph Counties (IN) and 2 to 4 inches in St. Joseph County (MI).
Where: Northern La Porte, Eastern St. Joseph IN, Southern La Porte, and Western St. Joseph IN Counties in Indiana, and St. Joseph MI County in Michigan.
When: Until 7 PM EST /6 PM CST/ this evening.
Impacts: Plan on slippery roads, reduced visibility due to blowing snow, and the risk of frostbite with wind chills as low as 25 below zero.
Wind Chill Advisory:
What: Very cold wind chills, as low as 25 below zero.
Where: Various counties in central, east central, north central, south central, southeast, southwest, and west central Indiana.
When: From 7 PM this evening to 1 PM EST Sunday.
Impacts: The cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin within 30 minutes.

Driving: Slow down and use caution due to slippery roads.
Outdoors: Use caution while traveling outside, wear appropriate clothing, including hats and gloves.

Some parts of New York:
Heavy lake effect snow bands with gusty winds will occur east of Lake Erie and Lake Ontario Saturday through Sunday night.
The snow bands will oscillate north to south, impacting the Buffalo and Watertown Metros. Travel will be difficult to near impossible within snow bands.
