The Department of Justice searched Joe Biden’s Wilmington home on Friday and “took possession of materials it deemed within the scope of its inquiry”

Six items were located in Biden’s house that the DOJ took possession of and contained classification markings, Bauer said, according to the AP. The DOJ also took possession of some of Biden’s notes.

Biden’s lawyer, Bob Bauer, said the search was done on Friday and lasted about 13 hours, according to The Associated Press.
In a statement obtained by the AP, Bauer reportedly said that the DOJ “took possession of materials it deemed within the scope of its inquiry, including six items consisting of documents with classification markings and surrounding materials, some of which were from the President’s service in the Senate and some of which were from his tenure as Vice President.”
