RawNews1st – Six members of the Mongols Motorcycle Club in Clarksville have been charged with racketeering conspiracy, kidnapping, and murder among other charges.
The Middle District of Tennessee Department of Justice reports the men along with a seventh man from Kentucky were all convicted of racketeering conspiracy and “terrorized” the Clarksville area with “widespread violence.”
The trial presented evidence showing Stephanie Bradley was kidnapped and murdered in May 2015 after the club believed she had information on stolen drugs, money and guns. Members were accused of interrogating her and warning her not to talk to others about the club.
When she failed to follow their instructions, she was kidnapped and driven to a cemetery in Bumpus Mills where she was walked into the woods and shot multiple times, ending her life.
Evidence was also presented in the 2017 murder of Stephen Cole, a member of the club who was accused by members of stealing motorcycles from one of the defendants.
Cole was kidnapped from a house in Clarksville and taken to a shed in Trenton, Kentucky where they interrogated and tortured him before killing him with a 10 inch tent stake driven through his head.
Other allegations include kidnapping a woman in 2016 from a Nashville hotel and physically assaulting her, conducting a home invasion, and holding two people at gunpoint in a Clarksville home.
“The Clarksville Mongols terrorized communities in Tennessee and Kentucky for far too long,” said Assistant Attorney General Kenneth A. Polite, Jr. of the Justice Department’s Criminal Division. “Today’s convictions underscore the Justice Department’s dedication to disrupting and dismantling violent criminal enterprises.”
Those charged include James Wesley Frazier, Aelix Santiago, Michael Forrester, Jamie Hern, William Boylston, and Jason Meyerholz, each from Clarksville. Boylston and Meyerholz face a mandatory life in prison while the others face up to life in prison during their sentence hearings.
