Telegram Becomes Fastest Growing App of 2021
Telegram’s creator Pavel Durov revealed the news on his channel Tuesday – the platform receiving the greatest number of active users among all other mobile apps in the world in 2021, based on data by Appannie.
Durov himself attributed Telegram’s success to users “choosing privacy” among the notable shifts in content moderation and privacy policies that many social media giants implemented this year.
