A teenager was killed and two others were injured in a shooting Saturday night in Archer Heights.
In the 5300 block of South Kostner Avenue, Chicago police responded to a report of shots fired and discovered an unidentified male victim who had been shot in the head.
The victim was taken to Christ Medical Center and pronounced dead. The victim appeared to be between the ages of 16 and 18, according to police, but he has yet to be identified.
A 19-year-old man with gunshot wounds to his hand and leg was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital. He is described as being in good condition.
The other victim, a 52-year-old woman, was shot in the face but survived and was taken to Christ Medical Center.
Officers were told by a witness that an unidentified male offender was shooting from a silver sedan traveling down Kostner Avenue.
There is no one in custody, and Area One Detectives are looking into it.
