A teenage boy was shot while walking on the sidewalk in the North Mayfair neighborhood on Tuesday night.
According to police, the 17-year-old was on the sidewalk in the 4900 block of North Kilbourn Avenue around 11 p.m. when gunfire erupted and he was shot in the thigh.
Paramedics took the teen to Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where he was listed in good condition, according to police.
According to officials, he was “very uncooperative” with police and refused to answer any questions.
As Area Five detectives conduct their investigation, no one is in custody.
