A teenage boy was shot inside a Chatham neighborhood home on Wednesday night.
The 17-year-old was inside a home in the 100 block of West 81st Street around 11:37 p.m. when a bullet came from outside and struck him in the back, according to police.
He was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center by paramedics and was listed in fair condition.
As Area Two detectives conduct their investigation, no one is in custody.
