A teacher was killed in apparent murder-suicide in Port St. Lucie
Hicks was found with a dead male around 11:45 a.m. at the Peacock Run Apartments on NW East Torino Pkwy on Saturday.
An unharmed, crying baby was discovered inside a crib in the residence with the two bodies.
Reporters reached out to the Port St. Lucie Police Department and were told that they could not confirm to us if Ms. Hicks was the victim due to Marsy’s Law but did confirm that the department only responded to one homicide call on Saturday.

The Port St. Lucie Police Department has confirmed that Ms. Hicks was the victim of a homicide.
