A Miami-Dade Police officer was hospitalized after a shooting Monday.
The shooting occurred in the northwest area of 67 Avenue and Miami Gardens Drive, according to an official report.
The department confirmed that an officer had been shot and was being airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center, but gave no further details.
