RawNews1st – The Parker County Sheriff’s Criminal Investigations Division is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating suspects involved in a vehicle burglary and credit card/debit card abuse case.
Parker County Sheriff Russ Authier said the incident occurred in Springtown where the victim reported he was helping a friend move when someone broke into his vehicle and stole his wallet, containing his credit and debit cards.
The suspect(s) then used the cards to make purchases over several hundred dollars at various department and convenience stores in Azle.
The suspect(s) also used the banking information to withdraw funds by using a cash application (smart phone app).
Police are looking for a man in connection with the shooting of his fiancé.
Sheriff’s investigators obtained security video footage of the unauthorized transactions, revealing a male suspect who was seen entering the stores to make the fraudulent purchases while a female driver waited in a dark-colored truck.
