Suspects arrested on meth, marijuana charges after deputies search home

Deputies with the Dare County Sheriff’s Office arrested two women after searching a home on Daphne Ln. on Feb. 26, 2023. 

During the search, marijuana, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia was found. 

Kristi Dawn Gray, 42, of Manteo, was charged with: 

• Felony possession of methamphetamine
• Misdemeanor possession of marijuana
• Misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia
• Misdemeanor possession of marijuana paraphernalia

Gray was jailed under a $25,000 secured bond. 

Trisha Anne Hooper, 40, of Manteo, was charged with: 

• Felony possession of methamphetamine
• Misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia
