Mayes County prosecutors charge a suspected drug dealer with murder after she’s accused of selling Fentanyl laced pills to a man, who died two days later from an overdose.
The affidavit for Donielle Brigance says the victim, Aaron Jenks, was found dead in a Pryor home on June 9th, 2021.
It says investigators found text messages on the victim’s phone indicating he’d bought pills from Brigance, just two days before his death… 20 pills for $700.
It says fentanyl and oxycodone were found in the victim’s system and his death came from a high toxicity of fentanyl.
It says the victim had a prescription for oxycodone for more than a year with no overdoes, from July 2020 to May of 2021, and he didn’t die until buying pills described by Brigance as “fent pressed” or pressed with Fentanyl.
The affidavit says Brigance voluntarily talked with investigators and admitted she was an opiate addict and had warned the victim to be careful with the fentanyl pills.
