(Fayetteville, NC) – The Fayetteville Police Department’s Narcotic Vice Suppression Unit (NVSU) conducted a months-long investigation into a subject distributing large amounts of narcotics in the area of Fayetteville and Hope Mills.
On September 29, 2023, members of the Fayetteville Police Department’s NVSU with the assistance of the FPD’s Central Community Empowerment Response Team (CERT) officers and the Hope Mills Police Department served 2 search warrants, one at an apartment along the 100 block of Briar Circle in Fayetteville, and the second one at a residence along the 800 block of Encounter Place in Hope Mills.
Both search warrants led to the following seizures:
5,700 grams (5.7 kilos) of Fentanyl pills
2,070 grams (2.07 kilos) of Fentanyl powder
4,128 grams (4.128 kilos) of Meth
413 grams of MDMA
538 grams of Cocaine
1,178 grams (2.6 lbs.) of Marijuana
5 handguns
$358,415.00 US Currency
Kye Steven Robbins (Black male, 37 years old) of Fayetteville, NC was charged with Trafficking Meth (2 counts), Trafficking Fentanyl (2 counts), Trafficking Cocaine (2 counts), Trafficking MDMA (2 counts), Possession with Intent Sell Deliver Marijuana, and Maintaining a Dwelling. Robbins is currently being held in the Cumberland County Detention Center under a $750,000 secured bond.
