RawNews1st – Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) detectives assigned to the Human Trafficking Unit (HTU) commenced an investigation into the trafficking of an adult female throughout the city of Niagara Falls.
An adult male suspect and an adult female suspect were arrested in relation to this incident. Detectives have identified a third suspect who is currently wanted and are appealing to members of the public for assistance in locating him.
Wolff CADELIS (25 years) of Montreal, Quebec is WANTED for the following Criminal Code offences:
• Financial Material Benefit / Trafficking Person Over 18
• Advertising Another Person’s Sexual Services
• Trafficking in Persons by Exercising Control
• Material Benefit from Sexual Services
• Procuring/Exercising Control
Hakim VARELA (21 years) of Brossard, Quebec has been arrested and is charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
• Financial Material Benefit / Trafficking Person Over 18
• Advertising Another Person’s Sexual Services
• Trafficking in Persons by Exercising Control
• Material Benefit from Sexual Services
• Procuring/Exercising Control
Maha TLEMCANI (21 years) of Brossard, Quebec has been arrested and is charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
• Financial Material Benefit / Trafficking Person Over 18
• Advertising Another Person’s Sexual Services
• Trafficking in Persons by Exercising Control
• Material Benefit from Sexual Services
• Procuring/Exercising Control
Colleen Smith,58, last spotted stopped on the side: Missing Persons
Both VARELA and TLEMCANI have been held in custody pending a bail hearing via video link to the John Sopinka Courthouse, located at 45 Main Street East, in the city of Hamilton.
