Rawnews1st – At approximately 10:05 a.m., officers with the Fayetteville Police Department’s Electronic Monitoring Unit (EMU) responded to the 500 block of Trust Drive for a strap tamper alert on the GPS monitoring device assigned to JQuan Rashod FITZGERALD
Upon arrival, officers found JQuan Rashod FITZGERALD had removed his electronic monitoring device and was last known fleeing from the area on foot.
JQuan Rashod FITZGERALD was being monitored by the Fayetteville Police Department’s Electronic Monitoring Unit for charges of Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon.

He had previously posted bond for the Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon charge. He was court ordered to remain on a GPS monitoring device.
The Fayetteville Police Department’s Electronic Monitoring Unit are currently obtaining additional warrants for arrest on JQuan Rashod FITZGERALD for Interfering with an Electronic Monitor and Damage to Property.
FITZGERALD is described as being 6’0 tall and weighing approximately 180 pounds.
