RawNews1st – Lincoln Parish Sheriff’s Office began investigating a shooting that left a Ruston woman dead.
LaTonia Moore (38) was killed inside her home on Greene Lane shortly after 1PM.
Detectives responded and began processing the scene and interviewing witnesses.
As the investigation progressed, a suspect was identified as Donovan Hart (18) of Ruston.
Donovan Hart (18) of Ruston has been arrested and charged with Second Degree Murder.
On Wednesday, detectives identified Hart as a suspect in the shooting death of LaTonia Moore.
On Friday, with assistance from the public, he was taken into custody on a traffic stop in Simsboro.
Hart was questioned by detectives and booked into the Lincoln Parish Detention Center. He is currently being held on a $1,000,000 bond.
Detectives will continue to investigate this case and more information will be released as it becomes available.
