RawNews1st – He was in Academy Sports yesterday afternoon about 1:00, but he wasn’t interested in doing any shopping.
An employee saw him put a box of ammo in his shopping cart, which he then pushed to a nearby aisle. When the guy emerged out the other of the aisle without the cart about a minute later, the box of ammo was nowhere to be found.
The employee, suspecting that man was trying to steal the ammo, went up to him and asked if he could help him.
At that point, the guy pulled a pistol from the back of his pants, pointed it directly at the employee, and told him to get out of his way.
Of course, the employee immediately backed away and let the man leave the store. He was last seen getting into a grey 4-door car and then driving away going west on Walton Drive.
While he wore a mask the whole time, he does have a couple of pretty distinctive tattoos on his arms that we hope will help with identifying him.
The more notable is the Browning logo of a buck’s head on the inside of his right forearm.
Unfortunately, we can’t quite make out what the one on his left arm is because of the quality of the surveillance video, but it will be more than obvious when we find the guy.
This situation got dangerous really quickly when he pulled out the gun. What started off as a misdemeanor theft escalated into an Aggravated Robbery, which is a felony.
If anybody recognize this guy with the Browning Firearms logo tattoo on his right forearm? For a additional information call 911 or go to your local authorities.
