The man in the blue shirt was carjacked and found the suspect in his vehicle shortly after where he attempted to subdue the suspect and retrieve his vehicle.
Unfortunately the suspect pulled a gun and pistol whipped the victim resulting in head injuries.
The victim and @angeltookthepic (IG) chased the suspect into alleyways where he began jumping fences into yards.
LAPD responded – As of now the suspect is still outstanding.
Carjacking occurred near 89th / Avalon.
