RawNews1st – Recently several persons have fallen prey to what is commonly known as a Grandparent Scam.
A person receives a phone call from someone claiming to be their grand child who is in desperate need of financial help.
Ultimately the victim is directed to withdraw a large amount of money and then turn it over to a currier to assist the “grandchild”.
