RawNews1st – The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect of a simple robbery and simple battery.
Sheriff Daniel Edwards says on November 28, 2023 at approximately 3:45 PM, the subject pictured approached the victim while he was standing outside of his residence on Northwood Crossing Drive in Hammond.
The subject told the victim he needed help, and thereafter pushed the victim back inside of his residence while punching him in the face.
The subject demand money, and the victim surrendered an unknown amount of cash to the suspect.

If you know this suspect or his whereabouts please call 911 immediately or contact your local police.
Before fleeing the residence, the suspect grabbed the victim’s cell phone from his hand. The suspect then left in what is possibly a gold colored sedan.
Sheriff Edwards asks anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspect to contact Detective Dale Athmann at 985-902-2032.
