A reportedly homeless man was arrested on a felony charge late Thursday after he allegedly followed a juvenile girl into the women’s restroom at a local fast-food restaurant.
Fredrick Bernard Hall, 55, who lists “city streets” as his address, was taken into custody in the 900 block of Malvern Avenue around 9:30 p.m. and charged with voyeurism, a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison.
Hall remained in custody Friday on a $3,500 local bond and a zero bond hold on him out of Calhoun County and is set to appear on March 28 in Garland County District Court.
According to court records, Hall was arrested in Hampton in Calhoun County on Oct. 16, 2019, on felony charges of first-degree domestic battery and first-degree false imprisonment and a misdemeanor count of second-degree endangering the welfare of a minor, involving his wife and child. He reportedly failed to appear for a hearing on the case on May 11, 2022, and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
According to the probable cause affidavit on Thursday’s arrest, shortly before 9 p.m., Hot Springs police Officer Jose Castaneda responded to McDonald’s, 200 E. Grand Ave., regarding a sex offense.
