A man placed on a 10 year suspended sentence three years ago, is back in jail, this time, accused of strangling and raping a woman he’s dating.
The affidavit for Buddy Shipley says on September 18th, the woman was woken up at 4:22 AM, with Shipley repeatedly strangling her and screaming, “I can’t help it.”
It says he told her, she had rejected him, in her sleep and despite her protests, he raped her twice.
It says she told police he’s a drug user who uses meth, fentanyl and PCP and has a traumatic brain injury.
It says the woman had injuries consistent with her report.
Records show he has the following convictions:
Osage County:
February 21, 2020: robbery and domestic assault and battery; 10 year suspended sentence (requirements of having a job and doing community service, were removed in August of 2021 when he got a head injury).

For all 4 of those cases, he got 60 days in jail. (It was a total of 3 years, with 60 days in jail and the rest suspended)
